Chromecast vs. Roku. I have owned these streaming sticks items for almost a year. Both perform great! I am very satisfied with both these items. But each one has its pros and cons.
First let’s talk about the Chromecast. Here are the pros and cons.
Pros:
1. Ease of use.
2. Good mainstream content.
3. Awesome features (Screencast).
Cons:
1. Have to use your phone or tablet to control.
2. Lack of “tons” of content.
3. Really those two first cons is about it.
Roku:
Pros:
1. Tons of content.
2. Has remote.
3. Roku app for android.
Cons:
1. Seems sluggish at times.
2. Go to three.
3. Yep, that is it.
In my opinion the Roku is the best bang for your buck. Both perform great, but the lack of content on the Chromecast is the deal breaker for me.
