I was recently upgraded to FTTH or FTTP if that is what you want to call it. I also upgraded to a dual band router with 802.11ac (Yes, late to the game). I had vDSL before this, but was just a little to far to get the most out of vDSL. I did however get 20Mbps down and 3Mbps up and it worked perfectly. I had the option to do a bonded style router that would utilize 2 copper pair, but my vDSL worked just fine. Now that I have fiber, things have definitely changed. I can do 1Gbps if need be and more that I’ll post about later. It is truly an amazing upgrade for a IT geek like me.
